Which 3G or 4G/LTE devices can Scoopy+ S and Scoop5 S support?

5 November 2018

Plugging a USB device is one way you can add mobile access to a Scoopy+ S or a Scoop5 S. This can be useful in several ways:
* Add mobile IP to a unit without mobile capability
(option “Mobile via USB” required; consult us to get the software upgrade)
* Add an alternative network when the unit has got the integrated mobile feature
* Get 4G/LTE connectivity on an older product not having this capability

The device must be supported by the codec. Currently supported USB devices:

  • Huawei E160
  • Huawei E220
  • Huawei E270
