Operational benefits

ScoopTeam is a commentary unit integrating a codec for live transmission of one or two audio signals in high audio quality (up to 20 kHz bandwidth). Perfect for TV sports reporting, it also fits the needs of live radio sports. The two audio channels can be set with a single destination (transmission in “dual mono” format), or two separate destinations (double codec). Stereo algorithms (MPEG Layer 2, AAC, Opus, Linear) allow you to use ScoopTeam to transmit a stereo stream by using the coordination bus for mixing the right channel.
The interface is as simple to use as possible, with assignable buttons and knobs for settings and volume adjustments.

Connectivity

ScoopTeam mainly targets IP networks, but it can also use an ISDN line. Alternative transmission modes are available as options: AoIP over 3G/4G, Wi-Fi by USB, and mobile voice (including HD Voice™ capability). In addition, the premium version allows you to transmit via a Ravenna Interface (AES67, Dante compatible) and offers two additional analogs inputs and one AES input. (See table below)

ScoopTeam features many coding algorithms. Their availability depends on the configuration for transmission: network used and single/double codec mode. (See table below)

Rich and versatile, ScoopTeam is designed to meet the simplest as well as the most complex needs. (See examples below)

  • ISDN use case
  • Double mono codec use case
  • Big events use case
