Fixed issues:

New features :

  • Ability to display the "HD Voice" indication on the screen during a mobile voice call when AMR-WB coding is used.
    This feature is only available on units equipped with the Quectel EC25 wireless module (shipped since end May 2018).

Fixed issues:

  • Loss of the default IP route of the Ethernet interface whenever loading a Preset that involves static IP addressing for this interface, causing SIP registration failure.

Fixed issues :

  • Regression introduced in version 1.08 : failure of the domain name resolution in some network access configurations (public DNS server address). As a consequence, malfunction when a domain name is used for the SIP or the STUN server.

  • "Remote Assistance/Access" service: ability to select the network interface that will be used for remote access ("Maintenance/Remote Access" html page).
    The "Auto" choice is still available, in which the interface is always the same as the one used for audio transmission.

Fixed issues :

  • Rackmount version (ScoopFone 4G-R): when the "White List" option is active and "Auto answer" is set to "1 ring", AoIP incoming calls are not answered.

New features :

  • Ability to transmit two "Info" states to the remote party during an AoIP connection. These can follow the "Contacts" GPI. New "Info" choices have been added for this purpose to the "Fn Contact" entries of the "TOOLS" menu.
    Alternatively, when such GPI allocation is not used, it is possible to control the transmitted "Info" from the front panel: press Fn+* (F1) to toggle the "Info 1" state, Fn+0 (F2) to toggle the "Info 2" state.
    The current state of the transmitted "Info" can be displayed on the main screen by pressing the UP arrow. 
  • Ability to control the GPO relay outputs from the received "Info" during an AoIP connection. "Info" choices are added for this purpose in the "Relays" entries of the “TOOLS” menu.
  • Added support for the "Remote Assistance/Access" service. The settings and state of this service are accessed from the "TOOLS" menu or the html pages. 

Fixed issues :

  • Rackmount version (ScoopFone 4G-R): when the "White List" option is active, incoming AoIP calls were not answered (whatever the originating number/address).

Web pages security improvements :

  • Implementation of HTTPS for the embedded server.
  • Enhanced protection against attacks.
  • Implemented a technique to prevent from Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks.

Improvements :

  • When importing a configuration file, the login password is not affected (previously, the password possibly included in the configuration file was also imported).
  • Opus coding is upgraded to version 1.2.1.

  • The public IP address of the ScoopFone 4G is now displayed in the "IP" menu when STUN is active.
  • Ability to select distinctive network quality settings for the Ethernet and the mobile IP interfaces. The "Net. quality" setting is removed from the "IP" menu, while a "Net. quality" setting is added both into the "Mobile" menu and the "Ethernet" menu.

Improvements :

  • The ScoopFone 4G now reboots right after a "Factory Reset" is performed.
  • More explicit error messages when an outgoing call fails.

  • Ability to customize the title of the tab in the html browser; this allows to identify easily a unit among a number of open pages on the browser.

  • For mobile data, it is now possible to select between the "PAP" and "CHAP" authentication modes.

Improvements :

  • Improved AoIP interoperability for Opus coding, especially regarding the management of the stereo format and the bit rate.

Fixed issues :

  • Fixed various malfunctions in the handling of presets (create/update/load), in some cases imposing to reboot the unit.
  • Default route deleted from the routing table after editing the Ethernet parameters, leading to loss of control from a remote network: fixed.

  • Ability to activate an “Auto-redial” function when it is necessary to hold the link on permanently.
  • Ability to setup an audio call over an IP network without using the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). Please download this application note to see how to operate the codecs using the "Direct RTP" mode.

Improvements:

  • During an audio over IP call, the Tx and Rx network quality bars show a question mark until network statistics are gathered.
  • Don't switch off the screen when the screen saver is active but draw a moving pattern.

Fixed issues:

  • With very bad IP transmission quality, changing the bitrate of the Opus encoder on the fly might release the call: Fixed.
  • Under certain circumstances, an attempt to setup an audio over IP call with the packet replication option activated lead to a failure to synchronize the audio: Fixed.

  • Addition of an extended IP menu, providing full access to all SIP and STUN parameters in the "IP" menu (see user guide for mode details).
  • Display the type of NAT when STUN is active.

Improvements:

  • "Line in level" adjustment is more consistent, "+" key increases the gain, "-" key reduces the gain.
  • Better handling of mobile data connections; better error detection (failure to connect or unexpected disconnection) and improved retry process.
  • Release cause is displayed when the remote party hangs up (normal, rejected, busy, time out...).
  • Support for the display of the "Latin alphabet n°1" character set (ISO 8859-1).

Fixed issues:

  • Could not save a URI in the phonebook when the keypad was in alphabetic mode.
  • Unexpected behaviour could result when setting a NTP server (via the embedded html interface).
  • When updating the firmware using a USB stick, the file was deleted at the end of the process.
  • Management of the screen saver, now disabled automatically when necessary (call proceeding, SMS reception, restart, firmware update...).
  • Improper decoding of some SMS messages.
  • Line output level is too low by 6 dB for the return signal.
  • Received audio level not displayed on html pages during mobile voice calls.
